The weather forecast in London on the morning of 16thJune was not promising by all accounts but the sun did come out for the Hampstead Heath Picnic and four hardy souls persevered and by all accounts had an enjoyable afternoon. Rather than repeating my report for the day, I’ll leave you to read Hampstead Heath: Picnic in the Sun.
Before you go, take a look at our brief revision of the Summer 2019 Outdoors.
Well, one thing actually.
Attached is a new leaflet with contact details for Harvey Allen, who is organising the Naked Lunch at The Blue Lion in WC1. Harvey also asks that you send him a self-address envelope to return the tickets in along with payment. I’m sorry but payment via PayPal, etc is still not accepted, but if you wish to pay by bank transfer instead, please email Harvey for more details.
I am told that so far Harvey has had a good response, but as always with such things, the more the merrier. If we can give The Blue Lion’s management a good indication of just how popular naked dining is then they might have us back.
First, a quick call out for H&E Naturist, the UK’s — nay the world’s — only monthly naturist magazine. The October edition is now out and it includes, among many great article about our naked lifestyle, a readers’ survey with a chance to win £200. If you subscribe, don’t miss it. If you don’t, why not? This could be a good time to pick up a copy and tell the editor what you think of it. Not mentioning the £200.
Closing date for questionnaires: 28thOctober 2018.
Second, a naked lunch is being organised by friend, Harvey Allen. It will be held at The Blue Lion, WC1 on the 25thNovember 2018, at 3pm. Admission will be by ticket only, which cost £25 per person. Naturally, this is one for those who live in, or around, London or as the 25thNovember is a Sunday, it could be the perfect end to a weekend in the capital.
Due to the cost involved a minimum of 40 people is needed before the event can be confirmed, last date for booking, 28thOctober 2018.
More details can be found in ‘A date for your diaries.’
Please share with your naturist family and friends.
NAG London have announced some changes to a visit to Paris and Bois du Vincennes. It will now take place between Friday 7th September and Monday 10th September 2018.
It is suggested that you book your own passage with a cost in the region of £200 and a visit to the naturist restuarent O Natural on the Saturday is also planned.
More details are included in the attached notice. This is a chance to not only take in the sights of Paris and giving support to our French cousins as they establish a new venue for open space naturism.

Just a quick update. An error has been noticed in the text for NAG London’s list of summer happenings. The evening meal at The Blue Lion Inn will take place on 25th March not the 30th, as previously stated. The text has now been corrected. Apologies for any confusion.

Saturday 25 August – NAG visit to Paris
Parisian naturists have an official naturist section in the Bois de Vincennes. NAG is planning a ‘fact-finding mission” from London to Paris by Eurostar over the 25 to 28 August Bank Holiday weekend. We urgently need to know now how many naturists (and perhaps their families) may like to come. To express an interest and get further information contact me now by email me direct at john.paine AT talktalk DOT net or via, john.paine AT naturistactiongroup DOT org

Following a meeting of NAG’s supporters in, and around, London on 28th October and they discussed the potential sites for open space naturism other than Hampstead Heath. Talking about Hampstead Heath, they also discussed the brief media frenzy generated in May and the opinion poll of heath users conducted in June, with encouraging results.
Following the introduction of open space naturism in Paris, NAG London is discussing the possibility of making a visit; a fact-finding mission, bit like the one some of the Management Collective did to Munich, and to enjoy the day, of course.
Finally, they discuss the potential for a Christmas Dinner at The Oxford public house, Kentish Town Road.
More details can be found in the prepared leaflet and if you’d like more information then please email John.
The next meeting is scheduled for 10 February 2018 and if you’d like to attend or to be added to the email distribution list then again, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
An urgent message for any of our supporters in the London, UK area.
NAG has conducted the first part of survey on Hampstead Heath today, asking members of the public their opinion of naturism being allowed on the heath. John Paine is planning two follow up sessions on Wednesday 28 June and Saturday 1 July. If you are available either or both afternoons can you please contact John on his private email address email@example.com or call 01865 513103.
In two hours from 2pm, John and three others collected replies from 116 respondents, but as always we need more and hence the two extra sessions.
Apologise to those who are already involved with this project and have indicated that they are unable to assist.
We have the pleasure of publishing our Annual Report for 2017. As always, we would welcome your comments about anything we are doing, or not doing or how we can do things better. If you prefer to either email me direct or any of my colleagues then you do so through the contacts page. Alternative, if your prefer to put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard, please send your missive to our registered address marked for the attention of the person you wish to address your question or questions, with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Later than intended, we are however, please to announce the publication of our second annual report that covers the period March 2015 to February 2016. It shows that we are moving forward, even if they are baby steps but look forward to taking some giant strides in the future.
