Naturists Campaigning for Naturism

Naturist sailing flotilla 2018 – booking now!

Would you be interested in joining a naturist sailing flotilla?
For the last 2 years a group of British naturists have got together to enjoy a sailing flotilla in the sunny Mediterranean. This is a normal Sailing Holidays flotilla in hired boats, the main difference being that whenever possible we sail, swim, sunbathe and socialise naked. The voyages have been very successful and enjoyable, and another one is planned for 2 weeks from 23rd September 2018, starting and ending at Preveza in Greece, and cruising in the southern Ionian Sea. We are booking the flotilla through Sailing Holidays Ltd., a well-known and fully ABTA & ATOL bonded holiday company we have used before. We would like to make the 2018 cruise as naturist as possible, so we are inviting other naturists to join us. If the idea appeals to you, please email Jim Hutton on:  for further details and to answer any queries you may have. Sailing experience is not essential, so long as you are able bodied and have a willing attitude. Flotilla sailing can be an ideal way to try sailing for the first time, especially in the warm Ionian sea. You can book your own boat, or share one. Couples or singles are welcome.

  • Are there any details available? Cost, is it self catering, flights etc included?

  • The best person to ask for details is Jim Hutton – email  – as he is the organiser and has full details. Costs vary according to the boat, number aboard, flights and various other options, so it’s not possible to put an exact price on it until those details are known, but a very rough guide would be about £800 per person for the 2 weeks, sharing a boat. This included UK flights and transfers. It does not include food, as the usual flotilla arrangement is for each boat to do its own catering. The usual regime is to self-cater aboard for breakfast, lunch & snacks (every boat has a galley & fridge), and to go out in the evenings for dinner at a tavern, though often a dinner aboard is taken for variety, or if we are at anchor rather than in a port. Everyone basically does their own thing.
Jim Hutton can fill you in on all the details. He’s very approachable.

  • I went on the flotilla this year. As Duncan has said.
The cost of flotilla depends on how many are on yacht and also size of yacht and time of year.
Meals are extra, we normally had a fruit, yoghurt breakfast, salad lunch on yacht and dinner at a tavern. we decided on a kitty for this. This was an extra 400 euro’s approx. There was 4 of us, all male. We were naturist after leaving harbour until we docked in the evening.
