Naturists Campaigning for Naturism

Naked protest on the radio

Please don’t take this as an endorsement for or against Brexit, but economics professor Dr. Victoria Bateman sat in Radio 4’s Today studio naked making the argument that Brexit leaves Britain naked.

How do I know this? It was videoed of course and put up on the BBC News website.

Presenter John Humphreys suggests the nudity only brings attention, it doesn’t advance her arguments – a point I’ve made before – and look at Humphreys’ face as he visualises Jacob Rees-Mogg taking up Dr Bateman’s invite to argue his corner naked.

Anyway, what do you think; does it advance Dr Bateman’s argument or hinder it? Does it do anything for naturism?

  • I personally don’t think it does anything for ‘naturism’ as it doesn’t have anything to do with naturism.

Radio is not the best media to perform a visual protest. The only person affected by the visual aspect, would be the presenter and any studio personal present.

  • It doesn’t do anything to Naturism, it only accent’s her talk.

  • Is this the new `Bottom Line` for getting a word in at the Beeb maybe?

  • Completely irrelevant to naturism, purely a Brexit publicity stunt, same as so many stunts that use naked women to get publicity. (Notice they never use naked men – wonder why?)

  • ….Butt she makes her point/s rather more effectively on ITV…
No 10 next ? (as The Naked Civil Servant??)
